So...a buddy has a muzzy deer tag down there and is struggling to find deer. Excellent hunter. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Sorry for that. He was lucky enough to pull a unit 45 tag. Been scouting pretty hard and is not having luck.

The season opens October 1st? Big unit tell him to keep looking.

It's hard since the migration doesn't happen during his hunt. There are deer spread through the higher parts of the unit in low densities from what I've heard. I haven't drawn the tag. It's tough with the best ground being private.

early hunt is a tough one. Oct 23rd on is the best
