Kind of new ive been on this site about a year, i live in the upper peninsula of michigan me and my dad have been hunting area y of wyoming off and on for the last ten years. Im starting to look around for a new area to hunt in wyoming something that takes 0-1 preference points having a hard time figuring out the draw odds on my phone im going to look on my computer later, im just wondering if theres something that im missing also any advice as to what areas would be a good idea to look into. Big bucks are always a plus but mostly looking for a halfway decent hunt for me and my dad

There's only a couple things concerning with your question. They might be, in no particular order;
1. stating your a relatively new member
2. stating your a non resident
3. stating your gathering info on Wyoming deer units
4. hunting with rifle

It never hurts to ask, but people love them deer and try to protect what info they have learned and gathered to themselves and rightfully so.

Most of the general regions are 0-1 pt and can supply a good hunt for "any" buck. You will need to look at the hunting atlas on the WGFD website and find spots to go, but that's the fun part. Stay away from g and h if you want to hunt regularly

Most of the areas that are easy to draw have primarily private lands. That's the eastern half of Wyoming. Access can be tough for quality animals. But if you are not picky, or just want an adventure, you can sure find one here. Many choices. Just come to Wyoming and get started by travelling around and finding what you like.

Best of luck.
