Have any of you guys seen this in your Mule Deer Meat before?? First time for me..the local Fish Cop said its not harmful to humans..it's muscle tapeworm cysts..

I've heard of it never seen it in person I'd just cut it out and eat the meat that's not effected

Ya the last few years seen it a couple times. I ate it and still around. Last year there was a pretty long post with pictures about it here on MM.

Are those hydatic cysts like moose have been getting really bad from the wolfs?

No. The cysts in moose from wolves are in their lungs.

The cysts in moose from wolfs are in the meat. I've seen it in several moose in Idaho.

I really hope that deer are not getting the hydatid cysts.
