My son and I did pretty good this season on our mule deer hunt we got the two best bucks I found scouting.I thought there was only one good buck in the area but during my scouting when I saw the second buck it was so dark I could barley make him out I kept thinking man that bucks wider then he looked last week.Turnes out there were two in the area ,he got his opening Saturday evening and I got mine Sunday morning at 9:30.This is where it gets interesting my son got his as we were walking to my glassing spot the buck jumped up got out about 60 yards he fired and drilled him. The next day me and my friend went to a different area at first light and got buggered up by some others hunting the area and as we were glassing I watched 3 bucks run off.
So we headed back to my usual glassing spot the one I was headed to the day before,as we got to where my son shot I was pointing to my pal where my boys buck was bedded and where he dropped him then we took two steps and I'll be dammed if another buck didn't jump up out of the exact same bed he took off followed the same path the other buck took and I dropped this one 15' from where my sons dropped.
