Went scouting for elk this weekend over in the Naches area, didn't see any elk only deer. Its still real dry up there, I hope they get some rain before the opener. Temp was in the 80's. Any good news anywhere else in Eastern Wa? Deer or elk?

I was driving around on Blewitt pass and the Teanaway friday and it was hot and dry there to of course. no animals except the two grouse I brought home. Hopefully the weather will get cooler and wetter. nothing like shorts on the opener! haha

I was over there the prior weekend, and while the elk were pretty quiet, it was alot cooler too. Right at dark 3 bulls started howlin', so there's some around. What tag do you have?

leaving wed. for naches my partner and i both have any bull tags for bethel ridge. the last two weekends we seen plenty of elk with a couple of nice bulls but they were real quiet.we did see 3or4 lone spikes.

Right on, I'm glad you guys drew those tags. My partner and I tried but didnt get drawn. Good luck hope you guys do well!

Me and my hunting buddy draw again, branch antler tags for Goose Prairie A. We did some scouting last weekend towards Clover Springs and Mud Mountain, man was it hot in that Jeep. We then decided to take a short walk on the backside towards the rattlesnake, man what a sight. We saw 3 sets of elk with 2 having bulls at least 6x6's. They were bedded in that thick cool timber in those canyon draws. I'm hoping the smoke sticks don't stir them to much.

What do you mean drew again? How often do you draw that area it took my 6-7 yrs. Is that for modern firearm?
