Anybody hear anything about a 418 net typical that is a potential new P & Y world record bull taken in Montana?

Haven't heard of the record typical, but I did hear of a bull that is supposed to be around 430 nontyp taken in the breaks.

Time will tell

I heard mention of a new typical from montana on two different sites. Neither gave a score, they just said you'll know more in time basically. One of the sources I consider to be very good. What a year for huge bulls.

Just to add some more to this. I heard the bull may have been killed by Chuck Adams. He sure knows how to get them. That would be his second world record bull in three years and I think his 4th straight 370+ Montana bull in a row. I'd love to hunt with that guy. Then again I did see a MT bull this summer that probably would have gone 350+ in early June. I can't wait to see this bull.

Chuck Deluxe has been living on Boxelder Creek near Glenrock, WY with his girlfriend for quite awhile. The buzz around town is that he shot a new world record P&Y elk. I heard he bagged it 2 - 3 weeks ago.

just my .02
i haven't heard anything. at alll.....except the usual b.s.
a friend of my dad's killed a huge bull here recently, i have seen the pic but i don't have a score yet....

Dang
Im movin to Montana in 2-3 years to finish my college. Get my masters in Biology from The University of Montana Mesula. Maybe i'll have to check these bulls out :)

Chuck Adams, he's a great shooter but I personally think that thre are better hunters on this sight than him. I know personally a guide for him. He has a group of guys that all they do is scout for animals in areas that he has tags for. I personally think, and maybe I'll get reamed for this one, that the majority of the hunt is spent finding animals and thier patterns. These guys go up, find, and figure out the animals behavior. Boom! Chuck shows up the animal is found and so is the pattern and he sets up shoots and gets all of the credit. Come on!!!

Just make sure you tell the truth on your college application, cASS. They check those sort of things.
And, it's "Missoula."

If you have the cash for private land in Montana 370 bulls are not really that hard to come by. Just ask Chuck, The Primos crew, and Id imagine both potential records in Montana were probably killed on private land wether cash was exchanged or not who knows? But Montana definitely has the hogs.

some of the biggest bulls i have seen have been on national forest.....of course, THE two biggest bulls i have ever seen are on P.L.

seems like they're crawling out of the woodwork lately....

the bull i was trying to put a freand on made another bow season. he has rifle season to go. he has made the last three that i've been seeing him. we had no tag but a freand of mine had one so i worked him for him. we had him called in three times during the season but allen never got a shot. we saw lots of bulls but remaind focased on this one. the cards were stacked agenced us even though we knew his every move. he allways kept a tree between us. the last day of the season he showed up bugled his heart out but never showed him self. it was intence and i wasn't even hunting him. on several occations he about gave me a stroke compounded buy cardiac arrest. it was a great bowseason even though i didn't get my buck because i was to busy helping allen with the elk that we never got either

Cass,

Let me know when you get accepted for school in Mesoula, I own about 900 rental houses there and 17 wal-marts and 2 million acres of private property near mesoula. I'll let you live rent free in one of my houses, manage three of the walmarts (your salary $600,000 a year) and hunt all you want on my property. Just call when you get ready.

I live up in Poulsen (aka Polson). If you happen to own the Walmart up here too, can I manage it for you? Thanks, bud.

theres always a lot of rumors theres a rumor of another bull killed in Arizona that goes 454 that a 22 year old kid killed on his first archery hunt. If its true though that is a pig of a bull.

see what Im talkin about i just read the article on the espn website and this guy isnt 22 and he has killed a bull with his bow before. But I guess tis the rumors of big bulls that keep us going.

I don't know if I believe 17 Walmarts.....maybe 15.....and you can't fool Cass, he's going for his masters. He already has his B.S.

:)

sure Cass- you better finish high school and learn to spell the name of the town before you go to college there

I hope its true and am with schmalts , got 4 points in AZ . Montana has always produced big bulls , its just been in recent years that they get publicised , but they too will see the huge increase of non-residents trying for one of those big brutes behind every tree lol ....NMhuntnutt

Cass, just a note on getting your master in biology:

When you are in front of the panel defending your thesis, they will not accept "Just ask 6 guys from California" as a valid defense.

Ha Ha, I couldn't resist.

Sampson last time I checked you don't have to do a thesis for a masters. I guess you just gave away how really old you are.

Hedges, it may depend on what school you go two, any school worth the time and money will require you do do a thesis if you want a masters...

looks like Cass has this site "mastered"

everytime he replies look at the responses, they're not even related to the topic anymore.(pretty influential)

Yeah...there are a lot of huge bulls being taken this year. Hope there are a few for me next year(no elk hunt for me this year)

Good luck and let's see some horn porn.

The Arizona Bull is not a rumor. It grossed 454, was all over the news, and there are pictures posted on here somewhere. They are also posted at the sportsmans wherehouse

LAST EDITED ON Oct-05-03 AT 07:33PM (MST)[p]Cass-Don't forget to take some English classes on the way to your masters in biology.

there is a 419 net typical from arizona also so arizona could have two new world records.

I want to hear more about the bull killed off Laramie Peak in Wyoming. Just a rumor but I heard this bull was a 7x7 and will top chucks bull in 2000 by over 10 inches. If so this would be something special. But I have not seen or heard anything from anybody that has seen the bull.
