LAST EDITED ON Oct-02-03 AT 02:59PM (MST)[p]I just got emailed some pictures, of a bull that is supposably killed in Utah, if anyone would like to see them, leave me your address on here, and I'll email them to you. Or if someone can post them on here, let me know, and I will send them to you. Its a very impressive bull, I'm gonna say 380-400 class net. Its has really impressive mass , G-4's and fives. The whale tails on this thing are nice too. It looks like it might have been shot last year or something, cuz there is snow on the ground. Just wanna know if anybody knows the story on it, like where it was shot, and the score. Let me know

One shot

will someone please post those for him and the rest of us to see!

That's interesting. It snowed on the 10th of Sept. up high here in Utah. That snow melted off the trees like a downpour, completely the next day. I don't recall it snowing anywhere since. I didn't think there were any rifle hunts open at that time here in Utah.

I would be interesting to hear what the story is. Maybe the govenors or the sportsmans tag?

What a great bull.

Cheers,
Pete

DON'T THINK THIS BULL WAS KILLED IN UTAH! WE DO HAVE THE "GREATEST SNOW ON EARTH", BUT NOT DURING THE ELK HUNT WHEN WE WOULD LIKE IT.. IDAHO?..MONT? MABEY?

If you have seen the picture of the guy on a horse with the rack on a pack horse it is in the Franklin basin turn off in the North Cache unit of N. Utah. It is a N. Cache bull, the hunt is a limited entry and runs in early to mid-Sept. The snow was from the storm that came through in that same time frame and left snow down to around 6000 ft.

Yeh, it is a North Cahce bull and yes the snow hit that Wednesday. I got dumped on in Wyo. that same snow day!!! I didn't know it came out of Franklin Basin area though, thanks Graycliff for the info.
I got the E-mail of it on a horse packing out.

awesome bull but the snow is odd. It did snow just like what the picture shows on the 10th. The rifle hunt did not start until the 13th and there was no snow left on the wasatch by then. Was this bull killed by an ar301 hunter?

LAST EDITED ON Oct-07-03 AT 03:08PM (MST)[p]That's just what I was thinking. I don't believe the snow could have stayed on the trees like that for three days anywhere in Utah.

It is one awesome bull. It would be cool to hear the real story. Does anyone know this guy?

Cheers,
Pete

It snowed on Wednesday the 17th, I had like 6 inches and still snowing around Smoot Wyo. when I finally bailed out, hunting alone, had to be back on the job the 18th, and came down thru Garden City and Logan Canyon. Took a 'racehorse' at the FS toilets at the turn off for Beaver Creek and it was snowing. The North Cache seems to put out a good bull or 2 every year.
