This is my brothers bull taken on the 5th out of six days. Man this guy has patience. We had been hunting a 400+ for 2 days and we just couldn't get him in good shooting light. But this guy came out perfect. 6 cows on the way to water. You can't pass up a 50 yard shot on a 6x7. This was all on video and it came out awesome. After 5 days it was nice having our last elk where we could get the truck to him. Anyway I can't believe after these past years looking at pics on this site to actually be able to post some. Thanks so much Vinihunt for posting. And thanks to all who enjoy hunting. We also leave for the arizona strip (13b) in two weeks. Hopefully we can take nice bucks. We're enjoying haveing the sun shine on our backs for once. And to be able to do these hunts with our dad before he's too old to hike is the best. I think I'm going to use my .300 mag on our deer hunt rather than my .270. My .300 killed my elk, and my brother also borrowed it for his. I still think it's got some luck left in the barrel.
