Idaho unit 39 bulls,

looking for some ideas where to look for the elk season. spent some time in the high country lookikng for bucks and have not seen an elk. looked around danskin lookout also, no elk, lots of people. any suggestions. thanks and good luck....

Everyone in our group filled their cow tags this year. The rut started late and we were still cow-calling bulls to within a few yards on the 25th. It dumped 4 inches of snow on us while deer hunting so we pulled the trailer out yesterday afternoon. You should be able to find the general area where they are hanging out by their tracks along the road. Good luck.
