Broken tines

I shot a 370 class Bull this fall, but he had several tines broken. G-3 had 7" broken off and I was considering having the taxidermist replace it. Has anyone had any dealings with this. Is it bogus for me to consider this or should I leave it as is?

I've had taxidermists repair broken tines for me on bulls and I would certainly do it again but you have to have a very good taxidermist. The guy who did mine is one of the best in the nation. Valentines Taxidermy in Pueblo, CO (719)547-3404 he's not very personable but one hell of a taxidermist. He's also a bit pricey but you'll never be able to tell they were broken.
