2002 Utah Harvest Stats

Has anyone else that has looked at the 2004 Utah Big Game Proclamation and read the harvest stats notice that there are harvest data for the Fishlake area? I have hunted that area for 8 years and that unit was closed to all hunting except limited entry in 2002 but yet there were people who harvested animals on that unit that year. I have e-mailed the DWR about the possible mix up and they have usually been pretty good about returning e-mails, but they have yet to get back and it has been 3 weeks. I told them they should be handing out fines for hunting in a closed area, maybe they didn't like the advice. Just wondering if anyone else has caught this additional flaw in our DWR.

ya i found a flaw in our dwr the dwr!!!!

I don't think the whole unit was closed that year. Only one of the sub-units.

Fishlake and Boulder are the subunits of the Plateau unit. The Boulder was open and Fishlake was closed.

I'm actually thinking of the 1000 lakes unit. It is called "Plateau - 1000 lakes" now, but I thought it was called "Fishlake - 1000 lakes" then. I think I got an 02 proc laying around, I'll look at it.
