The wildlife comm meeting is in Grand Junction
Thursday May 6. From 1:30 to about 5 the subject
will be the next 5 year plan and this seasons
numbers of licenses for each unit. If you want
better quality for our bulls and want to be heard
this is the time. I will be making my pitch for
better quality and support for more draw units.
The pref point system is also going to be a
big topic.Anyone going from MM. I will be wearing
shorts and a headband. Hope to talk to any of you
MM people. Roy from Montrose.

It seems like every year the DOW has a new 5 year plan. Why dont they just call it a 1 year plan?

They've been operating with the same season structure and basic rules for the past 4 years. This season is the last year.

Their gonna set the seasons and tag numbers to ensure maximum cash flow $$$$$

So things will remain the status quo. You could tell that by reading the D.O.W. recommendation to the W.C. for what they want for the next 5 years. Except they want to lower the male/female ratio post hunt. From 20-30 males down to 15-20 or something like that.

What......you didn't get the memo ???

Roy, did you know my brother-in-law? His name was Jim Grindle. Lived in Redvale, but worked for San Miguel Power in Nucla. Paul
