I haven't been in there since before the fire, but previous to the fire we seen a lot of elk. Two ways to get in, either go in off steer ridge on the north or come up sego canyon and cross indian ground from the south. Do not get off the access road while you are on indian ground, this is tresspassing. Either way you can find elk, just get your maps and look for the springs. Most of the canyons have water in the bottom so the elk can be just about anywhere. Fun place to go and play with elk. Great place to hunt for a 300 - 320 point bull, not too many bulls out there that go over 350 though.
