Your Best Guess for Score

I found this bull whilst bear hunting last fall, never found him during the rifle season, was just wondering what you guys think he might score, best guesstimate from a crappy pic.
He's 7x7, and the "skyline" photo probably makes his horns appear a little skinnier than they actually are...

A friend of mine got a bull similar to that bull minus the extra inches on the seventh point and he scored 356. So another ten on each side (+/-) would put him up around the 380 mark. That's only a guess from that pic. Who knows, sometimes until they hit the ground and you can tape 'em, it's really hard to tell. What is there 25 different measurements on a typical six point frame? If each measurement is only 1" bigger or smaller than you think, that is alot of difference. Put's a bull you guesstimate at 350 down to 325 or raises him to 375. One inch is hard to judge at 350 yards.

cleaner,

i'll guess 270...that's my guess of what caliber you're going to use on him this fall ;-)

i'd say he's 360+" w/o question.

LAST EDITED ON May-27-04 AT 11:12AM (MST)[p]I was thinking 270 also, hehehe, thankfully I'll be bowhunting him this fall!
This bull is the reason I decided to take up bowhunting...
Thanks for the guesses, I figgered he was around 380 or so, hopefully a little higher, he's got good feed this year, hopefully he'll be in that same spot come sept.

JFWRC: The bull is in Montana, on my cousin's ranch. We usually have 2 or 3 this size every year. (it's a small ranch) The year I filmed this bull we had two that were bigger, but never got still pics or video. Hopefully I'll get pics of one of them with my bloody hands holding the rack up this year!

Cleaner-I hope you get him. I'd truly love to know where that one will go. I have only seen one bull in my life that was estimated by several over 400. Although a photo, that bull brought back that memory quickly.

Go to my website and you'll see a bull we took last year that did 382 gross. We also had one at 363 gross. The site is www.newmexicobiggamehunting.com. Good luck this fall. Jim
