1st time hunting in Crotez, CO; looking for advice

I am new to elk hunting and have just found out I'll be hunting with Silver Peaks Outfitters near Cortez, CO in the third season this year. I am looking for anyone who knows a bit about the area, or outfitter who could give me their experiences with either.

I haven't heard of these outfitters but it sounds and looks like they hunt around the Glade area. If your hunting the ranches you should have a decent chance at something, especially if some weather moves in. There are some nice bulls up there but they get to be slim pickens on public land but they are there. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, we used to hunt up there years ago, nice country and lots of it. Good for deer as well.
