Thanks Brian,
I killed this bull on the fifth morning of my hunt. He came out of Ephraim Canyon between the main canyon and the White Ledge fork. I bugled him in and shot him in the timber at eight steps, should have had my bow. Had a great hunt, passed several other bulls including a 6x6 about the same size as this one. I know there are better bulls in this unit, but I'm very happy with this one. I think he's a pretty good bull for a solo hunt by a Michigander who had never been to Utah before this trip. He's a 6x7, with beams over 50", a 46" outside spread, and will go around 335 B&C. He has excellant brow tines and good mass, short thirds and mediocre fourths are all that keep him from being a 350+ bull.
I'd like to thank everyone from this site who gave me helpful information and also the one's who offered to help that I never managed to contact.
Thanks again,
Ken M.
