WA Elk?

Anyone out there looking to do any hunting on the western side of the cascades this yr for either Modern or Muzzleloader this yr??

I havent decided with which weapon and where to target my first WA elk.

I am up near the Skagit River if anyone wants to try and help me out that would be greatly appreciated.

I hunt a lot around St. Helens but the USFS and WDFW have access pretty limited. My best advice would to try Matheney, Clearwater or Pe Ell.

Go spend some time in the Stampede unit. They are there, just have to spend a few days lookin. There should/Will be snow, so finding some sign shouldn't be too hard.

now...I need to decide...muzzleloader or modern.......hmmm decisions...decisions....
I might do both.,.have my buddy get a elk tag and we will get him one with his modern and then me with a muzzleloader.
