North slope muzz hunt

I didn't get the chance to muzz hunt elk on the North slope this year and was wondering how the hunting pressure was with the new system and also how the weather was up that way. Besides, did any of you guys have any luck up that way? Thanks.

Pressure-lots. Weather-warm, no snow except in north facing, shady areas, and it was rotten and noisy. Elk were very scattered, not high, not low, very little sign and the bigger bulls appeared to be in single/doubles. We never did find a good bunch, but did see a guy with a 280 6X6.

But the Northern lights were awesome!!

Hey predator, did you hunt by the Gorge or another area? Was wondering how the pressure was by Hoop Lake/Blacks Fork.

Sir- We did not get over to Hoop Lake, we hunted Dowd, Sheep Creek Parks, Browne Lake, Highline trail and Spring Creek. But a friend of mine hunted out of Manila and had the same problems we did in finding elk.
