Sweet looking elk. Congrats. I bet I can guess what day you got him. That was about the only "good" weather the entire season. : )
 
Thanks guys. Boneaddict it was Oct 26. I shot the bull while he was rubbing a tree. It was really rocky where he was at. There is no way I would have got up on him without the aid of the snow storm.
 
My wife got hers on the 25th up the Nile, and we were camped up there that night. I went down and picked up our girls and their snowsuits, and brought them back up to camp. They had the time of their lives in the snow. Now I'm glad they got to at least see whitestuff this year. This is pretty pitiful. I'm glad I'm not a season ticket holder for a ski resort around here. I was glad I was able to get the meat out before that weather hit, again, congrats.
