I'm taking advantage of the new picture posting feature on MM

I joined friends and family for the opening day elk hunt on November 1 in unit 39.

We had a killer day to say the least.

My other cousin also took a 3x1 but I wasn't with him to take pictures. All these were taken opening day!

that has got to be the smallest lion i have ever seen killed. did he just stumble on it, or was he hunting them at the time?

Yeah it is a small kitty but when it's the first one you've ever seen and you have sportman's package, why not?

There was actually two of them that were crossing the ridge 100 yards below him. He passed on the first one and then changed his mind on the second.

And like Buckshot said, a dead kitty is a good kitty!
