AZ question

I'm thinking of applying for units 1 and 7W, both archery. Which would be a better choice for quality and quantity of animals and accessible public land? Thanks.

both have quality bulls and lots of public land. you really cant go wrong anywhere in N. AZ.

I've been in 7, but I don't remmber where it is, but unit 1 is as good as it gets....anywhere

1 is considered a better unit, with longer odds of drawing, but they both should be a great hunt.

Unit 1 sucks. It is full of spikes, raghorns and little weener bulls. 7 is full of monsters, damned near a 360+ bull under every tree over there.

Actually Brett is right.. Everybody should put in for unit 7.. Huge bulls everywhere.. Even walking on the golf course in Flagstaff. People would be dumb not to put in for unit 7W, 7E, 7M for Archery.. 360+ I would say 460+ around every other Tree!!!

Never put in for unit 7. Full of tree huggers and unbathed hippies. Try unit 37B or 34A. Very underrated.

I like both units. Each offer a great hunt. I would go with 1 as my first choice of the two because I believe there to be more mature bulls there. Unit 7E is also good.
