Youth Cow Colorado

I have a youth cow tag good for the late hunts in colorado. I live near Farmington NM. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for finding someone with private land in one of the units along the Colorado New Mexico border that allows hunting on thier land. Just trying to find someplace fairly close to home, with school I don't have to much time other than weekends.

Try calling one of the biologists in the area you want to hunt. Past experience says they will help all they can and will usually give you some pretty useful information. They may know of some landowners that will allow a walk in access. Good Luck!

I might be able to help you out. WE have a lease on some private land in Unit 741 and we always enjoy helping youth hunters.
