Henry Mountains Elk

Are the Henry Mountains home to a decent elk heard? I was notified today that my 15 year old son drew a Youth General Any Bull tag. I'm looking for a good area to take him on his first elk hunt. Thanks in advance.

The Henrys don't have very many elk on them, however I have seen them there, I think the DWR want them off of there thats why it is an open area, most of the deer hunters down there will be glad to tell you where they have seen elk, sence they roam, I'd guess less than 8 mature bulls live there.
