This bull I harvested after watching
for 5 years. I have 4 years of his sheds.
The taxidermist I took him to said he would of
probablly been the new state record if I could
of entered him in the books. I have had 3 different
people score him and they are all within a couple of
inches.

The 429 score is with the broken 3rd.
When I shot him I broke his back and
he started thrashing his head against the ground.
He broke the beam and the 3rds, they measured 29in, and
29 3/4 in.

I'm a bit south of you but am interested in bringing the wife and camera in August to take some photos of these hawgs. Would this be possible? I applied for unit 380 which is a snowballs chance in he!! but only did it because it is close to home. Let me know if I can come trounce around your place to take pics sometime. A friend of mine drew an archery tag a couple years ago in your neck of the woods and said it was amazing. He stuck one and looked for 3 days but never found him. He said there were a lot of big bulls. God bless the Bear Paws!

Have been applying for that 690 bow permit for years, never drawed it yet. Been through those parts hunting deer though. Talk about a gravy elk hunt, and huge bulls. Congrats on the big boy.
