My 6yr (will be 7 by fall) son is showing great interest in hunting and I am going to try and take him as much as possible this fall. Looking to put in for a UT cow elk tag, hoping that is something he could come along on. Any suggestions for area's that are not too far off the beaten path? I can get him to hike a bit, but nothing too far. Was thinking about the Book Cliffs but not sure which area would be best. I appreciate any/all suggestions.
