Manti - Elk... Hunt early season or late?

I have an elk tag for Central Mountains Manti Utah and I'm looking for advice from anyone who has hunted this unit during archery season. I understand there are a ton of spike and cow hunters in this unit during the same time. My question is whether I should hunt opening day for 8 days or wait till the last eight days of the season.

In my very limited knowledge. I would wait till the last 8 days. Only for the simple reason that most years the bulls haven't really started bugling very good during the first part of stick and string season. You might want to poll the rest of the audience on this, but as for me...I would wait till the last 8
