colorado elk unit 4

I am going to be hunting in unit 4, the 3rd rifle season. I have never hunted there before. Where should i start scouting in order to have a decent public land hunt? I have quads and three other hunters in my group.

Check out the "Elk Mountains" or around Black Mountain northeast of Craig and anywhere east toward Steamboat Springs.
