count down nm DRAW (part 2)

Mine got hit around 10:30 this morning, as I checked around 9:00 and there was nothing.

$63; so either 16-D or 17, both archery & late Sept. hunts

How many people have gotten hits for Rifle Elk, Units 16 and 34? I just called and no hits for me. It seems like a lot of muzzy, and archery elk are going but not many rifle elk hits. I am keeping my hopes up?........................
 
Obviously, the draw has been done as they are billing the credit companies. They could also post the draw results, BUT NO.

No tag charges on my CC, just a hit for thoses Az. tag raffel tickets.
So how long before I should give up hope and drink the purple koolaid ?

I only put in for the Quality tag this year. So...it is either

Muzzle only. Oct. 15-19. I wasn't expecting it. Looks like 2 smoke pole hunts.

hey anaconda ive got my purple koolaid mixed up and chilling. ive lost all hope of a draw no cc hits for me
 
ugh! purple koolaid!! I can still taste it!
I though it would mix with Everclear good and it did!!
I puked so much and would swear it glowed in the dark,ever have it so bad that it was also coming out of your nose as it was also spuing out your mouth? Thank God it was not my VAN and my heater vents!

It is on my card now, so looks like cow elk archery unit 15. Don't expect anything else, but would be a bonus. Good luck to all of you!
 
They said on the local radio this morning it would be Wednesday before the web results show up. They're still having to explain to people here that they can't hunt deer if they didn't apply for and draw a tag. It's a new concept to a lot of folks.

I agree, I wasn't trying to make excuses or anything- just reporting what I heard. And it will more likely take years instead of weeks for people to understand the change. There are some dense folks here, maybe secondary to the dry heat and altitude.

Plus, after I typed it, I realized that posting tomorrow won't be postponing anything. I had my days mixed up. TAG FEVER or somethin'

Congratulations on avoiding the Kool Aid, Anaconda. Now, its like another draw just waiting to see which of the 3 units I applied for actually got hit.

Do most people only get the 1rst choice? Are the other units filled before 2nd and 3rds?

I'm kinda dumbstruck having drawn, when I had already blown off my chances.

RoadTrip, in New Mexico they look at all three choices before moving on to the next application, so it is possable to draw your third choice for a good unit.
 
Hello all, my CC got hit for an Antelope and Elk tag. I don't know who for as I included my son for the same hunts.

Good luck all and lets see what we drew on Weds.
 
Got a hit on my credit card that I used for all my son's applcations. Looks like my son drew a youth MB tag in 34!

Nothing for my cousin and I though so we are now eagerly awaiting the AZ draw next month..........

No kidding. Its a bunch of numbers. Like computers don't know how to handle that. Now their website is just gonna get overloaded with people like me. It is really slow today with all the people checking.

They said it will be reported no later than June 22, which definitely meant June 22. Now it MAY be after 5 pm, which means you better believe after 5 pm, I'm guessing 11:59 pm.
 
I'M IN!!!! Drew for 23 elk late archery, wanted 15 late hunt, but i'll take it. Also drew for javalina and 24 deer early archery hunt. I got 3 out of 4. Didn't draw for antelope, took a nice antelope buck two years ago though. But I'm in for this year!!!

Myself and my buddy drew unit 16D Early Rifle hunt #ELK-1-163.

WOW!!!!!!!! With also drawing the Mt Dutton Archey Elk tag
this year in Utah, I must have a Golden Spoon up my a--!

Need any help I can get on 16D, will have very little time to scout.
