This is in Colorado,up Northwest of Dolores- on and around Dolores Peak,right at about 10,000 ft.(all but the close up elk shot,it's in the Gila).

Hunted 71 north of Dolores near Nipple Mt. 2 years ago...2nd rifle otc tag...was hot and dry...beautiful country...first elk hunt & had a blast.
Thanks for the pics...helps pass the time. Drew a 1st rifle either sex tag in 80/81 in the Platoro area (South/Central Colorado)...can't wait.
