arizonia units 10 and 22 north

For 22 I would holler at Josh Epperson who is a regular on here. His father has been an outfitter for years and I believe they live in Payson. Unit 10 I would call Chappel & Scott.......They are reputable and kill some monsters.......... Thanks, Allen Taylor......

I second the vote for JP Vicente in Unit 10. He lives up there and knows the area like the back of his hand.

You don't need a guide for 10... Just drive in and camp. They're all over the place...!

United States Outfitters is your best bet. They have some awesome guides.I've used them several times with great success.

I would go with MR. Randy Bryant for Unit 10. He is very familiar with the unit, seeing he lives in Seligman. If you pull a unit 10 elk tag call him quick, because he gets booked up fast. He has an awesome set up in the unit and we have had some excellent times!!!

get er' done!

If you scout either of these units you will find there is no reason to need a guide.

LAST EDITED ON Jul-16-05 AT 11:25AM (MST)[p]I would say Randy Bryant also. Great camp and you are always in Elk. Saw some great bulls with Randy last year. Unit 10.

It is not that I need a guide... I have harvested 4 6point bulls
with the largest being around 340...but I feel that this could be my only chance for a tag in arizona and I want to make the
best of it...it will be cheaper for me to hire a guide than to
take a week or more to drive down and scout before the hunt then
a week to hunt...If anybody has Randy Bryants contact # you can
P.M me with...all the numbers that I have found are no valid..
If there are any other guides that know these areas please feel free to let me know...

Talk to Randy the other day here is Cell #928-422-4045 Home # 928-853-0317. Randy is really a good guy I saw alot of great bulls with him last year. Write back if you don't get him.

Hey Treed, Try Randy's cell # 928-853-0317. He is out scouting for the AZ Auction elk hunter. He goes in and out of reception out there so leave a message on his phone. Like Okie said, Randy will get you in to some great bulls and set you up in an outstanding camp!!!

get er'done!!!

Boys:

Heard about the chat on here about who is the best. Everyone who has been listed is good, no doubt about it. Can't go wrong with any of them (including AWO).

In 2004, we had five archery hunters in Unit 10. We took five bulls, the "smallest" was a 339 7/8 7 X 6. The "largest" was a 6 X 6 that scores 383.

The "others" were a 9 X 7 367 P&Y, a 6 X 6 that is 371 and a 7 X 6 that scored 372.

If you want to see those big guys get whacked on video, Joe Thatcher (520-390-3296)has it on a two set DVD called DEAD ON.

Proof of the "pudding" is always what hits the ground.

No brag, just fact...
