Anyone familiar with this area? A freind I work with wants to take me up on the archery hunt and says he gets into the elk every year,but has yet to kill one. It's my first time trying for the wily wapiti with a stick and string, and I wouldn't mind shooting a cow if the opportunity presents itself.I was wondering if there are many elk in the area and if it would be worth a go. Thanks in advance for any help.

It is beautiful country and it gets a little crowded on the wknds but is more peacefull during the week ofcourse. Sure --- go and have some fun!
