Just opened the unexpected successful letter form MFWP for unit 380. Scouting will involve a 7 hour drive, but will frequently be done. As an out-of-stater I would really appreciate any help. Possibly willing to trade guided Salmon or Stugeon fishing for help. Would prefer using the horses and packing in, but leaving all options open. Thanks

Actually I've never hunted there and would help you if I could. I am requesting pics of the successful hunt though. If I did know the area I would love the fishing trip for trade. I applied for the area because I have heard good things and it's not terribly far away. Good luck!

Thanks Zigga. We generally hunt elk around Dillon, but i've put in for this unit after talking it over with one of my fishing clients. I called him this week, however, he drew also and became very tight-lipped. So i'll be starting from scratch. Anything you hear would be great help!
