We are gonna be going on an archery elk hunt in this county,(since we drew goose-eggs on our NM & Az. draw tags),we will be taking in a packstring approx. 6 miles into the wilderness area down there.Has anyone else ever hunted in this area,and I'm mainly just wondering about the caliber of bulls that we'll be most likely to see.I know that this county shows up an awful lot in our Pope & Young newsletters,and that the Vermejo Park in NM is not that far south of here,so there ought to be some respectable bulls in here.We are gonna take the video equipment in there with us also,and hopefully we will be able to get a couple of harvests on film!Just curious,Thank's for any feedback!
