So who won?
I wanted to give it a try but the AZ RMEF person in charge of tickets never emailed me back information. Who won the Swarovski stuff, man that would be nice too!
Jeff

I assume your joking AZtrophy, Dan has neither the auction or the raffle tag. A man from Michigan has the Auction tag and a Man from Colorado has the raffle tag.........Stan

Yeah, I'm just jokin. Congrats to the two men, they will have an experience they will never forget. Dan must have another San Carlos tag.

Will the auction tag winner be picking a guide or did it come with the tag? What unit do you guys think he'll kill the big bull in?

Actually I thought it was a guy from California that won the Raffle Tag. I was at the RMEF dinner on Saturday night up in Flag. The guide will be the Mullins brothers. A guy from Colorado won the Optics package.

Dang it! I could have been the dude from Colorado winning something! Oh well. Congrats to them.
Jeff

A guy from California won the optics package, I was there as well. The auction guy has had a guide since the day he bought the tag. Mullins Guide service donated five days of hunting to the raffle winner. He can chose to go with them or hire who ever he would like to.

I was there too, wasn't that you sitting at the Oufitter table right next to Gary "Goose" Howell the Arizona Supervisor for USO? Or maybe I have mistaken you for someone else. Would just like some clarification. I thought it was a Corporate table, or maybe it was just by luck that you ended up next to him.

HuntHo, Yes that was me. It was not a corporate table and like you mentioned; just shear "luck" that we were seated next to him. He wasn't real high on my guys I want to meet list.

AZ402,
Sorry for your bad luck!!! Although you have to admit it's kinda funny. As expected George drew to many tags and doesn't have the guides for it. He's trying to hire any Tom, ##### and Harry he can get. lol We should get about 10 people to hire on as guides, then not show for the hunt. George would really have a fit with 20 clients in camp and no guides. I'll be in 9 this year if your going that way let me know. Good luck on your hunts this year.

LAST EDITED ON Aug-17-05 AT 10:06PM (MST)[p]It was pretty funny. I actually didn't know who he was until the banquet was half over. Your plan sounds great to me. Anything to make Taulman look like a tool is OK in my book.

I'll be in unit 9 every week through Oct 5th(I drew a unit 9 Pronghorn tag :)and have elk clients). Then again starting in Nov for the general hunt............Stan

Hey Stan,

Haven't seen ya in a while. Stop in at the Tusayan store & give me a holler if I'm around. You still runnin' with Trav?
Ya scared me when I was reading the mails above. Thought you turned to the dark side with USO. Anyway, congrats on the goat tag, any ideas yet. Bruiser right behind my house. Let me know. Pat

Pat, I'll try and stop by on sunday? If you see any good Goats when your out and about let me know. Trav will be spending most of his time in another unit this year.................Stan

back in Flag. Still spending alot of time out. Actually working for Mullins on that Gov. tag this year. I haven't found "the one" though yet. Any way let me know when/where your headed out and we'll grab a sandwich in the field. I'll be out wed. and Fri. this week. Let me know talk to ya later
