Looks like a successful scouting trip! i cant believe that bull is bedded in the open while the sun is out! Must not have any pressure. What season are you scouting for? State? I am bowhuntind west of fort Collins, CO and all the elk I have run into have been a chore to get after (not that elk hunting is suppose to be easy). Hope you get him! Thanks for sharing.

it is a limited entry unit in Utah. My cousin has a tag for this weekend. There is an archery hunt going on now. I was about three miles from any roads in a drainage so they were pretty relaxed.
