Here are some pictures of two of the three bulls that our group took in the Gila this year. The two smaller bulls were taken on the early archery hunt. The bigger bull was taken by my brother on the late archery hunt.

We had a good hunt and were in the elk every day. However, the elk weren't screaming good until the last couple of days.

What do you think he'll score? How do you score the left-side on this guy?

Beutiful bulls! I have no clue on how to score them from a picture - have to measure them to be sure. Definite trophy bulls though. Congrats!

From watching that monster 464" AZ unit 8 bull, that was killed last year, get measured I'm pretty sure this one falls under the same category. You pretty much call that whole extra beam non-typ. That sucks for the net score because you have to deduct the entire G3 on the opposite side cause there isn't one to match it (even though in my opinion there is). I'm all for gross scores anyway so tally that puppy up!! The only thing you won't get is your H2 measurement between the G2 and that extra beam. Sweet bulls, thanks for posting/sharing.

Man I just looked at those pictures closer and I'm not even sure if that eyeguard comes off the beam and not the non-typ beam. Who cares, what a killer set of antlers.

Not sure what he'll score, but that really doesn't matter, that is an awesome bull!

Awesome bull of your brothers. Who cares what he scores, those antlers are awesome.

Nice bull...I'd say 340 Non typical is close...really unique bull for that area....Were you hunting 16B? If so I saw a bull like this two years ago but had already filled my tag with a smaller six point...just curiuos

Stickslinger, this bull was taken in 16B. We've hunted this area for 10 years now and I have never seen a bull quite like this.
After my brother stuck him, he gave us a pretty good look at the left antler, we were really hoping that the right side was the same.... A great bull anyway.

Gotta love the Non-Typ.,and the other 6x6 is nothin' to sneeze at either, great trips, and awesome elk, thank's for sharing them!Oh yeah,Congrat's to ya'll on a job well done!
