Hey guys & gals, just wanted to share some pics of a bull I was able to arrow in Az last Saturday the 24th. It was a killer hunt. We found this bull friday morning and I was able to put him down Saturday night. We tried to call him in and he wouldn't come, and slowly walked away from about 250 out. So in a moment of desperation before dark I took off after him and sprinted about 200 yards too get in close to him. It worked, I found him just in time raking his antlers on a small bush and was able to sneak in to 38 yards and put an arrow through him. He was quartering away for a perfect shot. After the shot the bull jumped up and ran about 20 yards and stopped to look around. He didn't have a clue what had just happened. He was able to go another 20 yards before he hit the dirt. The bull is a great 7x7 that grossed out at almost 384 with only a 33" inside spread. And with an estimated 20-23 inches of broken tines he would have been around the 403- 405 mark!!! Truely a monster bull that I am very fortunate to harvest. I am very humbled at the year I have been lucky to have thus far.

Just for fun, this is what the bull may have looked like had he not been broken, my best guess that is with a little photo shop work. Every bull elk we seen was broken up in some way. To many bulls fighten for the ladies...lol

GULP!!!! Outstanding bull Jeremy, and a cool story to! Some times desperate times call for desperate measures, and it sounds like you played this one just right. ;-)

Good show!

Good grief Houston....Does your luck ever end? If your luck never ends, I must say, you are very good at what you do.

Nice bull. Deer earlier this year. Bull last year. I think I am missing something else too.

What a cool bull! I love how all the points curl straight up.

Congrats on an incredible year jdh!

Cheers,
Pete

Congratulations.
Way to run and go out after him. Must have been tough to steady your aim after that 200 yard sprint! Happy to hear that it worked out perfectly and thanks for the great pictures.

Congrats Jeremy!!!

Great bull! You're having another spectacular year. Hopefully we can get together for a trip to the Great White North next year. Maybe some of your luck will rub off!!

Awesome bull man, JEEZ, two hogs in one year - Unbelieveable. What else you got tags for?

Again thanks for all the comments, I still have an AZ mule deer to try and get (12B west early). So just maybe I can bag another big buck this year.

Good luck to all you fellows on your hunts.

ktc. here are a few other pics of the bull at different angles. His right side is realy different on the back end as you can see.. it kinda rolls inward..

Thanks jdh. That is a great bull and I like looking at him. You see a little bit more with the different angles. He has all kinds of bone going every which way!

Congrats Jeremy-

Keep it up dude. You have been on a roll the last few years.

I sent you an email.

What a freak of nature, awesome looking bull! Jeremy, way to make the most of your hunt. Not many guys would have busted after him, but you've gotta do what 95% of most hunters won't to get the big boys. Nice work! What a year!
