Medicine Bow National Forest(Snowy Range)

I will be hunting the east side of the Snowy Range for the first time in 7 or 8 years this year. The reason: my cousin from Illinois has a area 8 either sex or area 9 cow tag. Anyone hunt this area in recent years and if so, can you share any tips, opinions etc. We will probably start high(towards Libby Flats) since the weather has been overly warm. We will be camping near Rob Roy and hunting Oct 15-23.

Where is this picture at? I live in Rawlins and we just got a dusting last night. I had heard though the mountains got alot of snow last night, ecspecially on top of the Sierra MAdres towards Bridger Peak.
