I am hearing that a lot of the elk are getting "broken up",and it may be hard to get a wall hanger from the Nov. rifle hunt (NV)

We have two bull tags in the family. Would it be a good idea to have both mounted, and in a sparring pose,if there are some broken points?I wouldn't mount one alone with broken points, but with the chance of two bulls and the room to display them this might be a neat display, even with broken points.
Your thoughts??

That would look pretty neat to have to bulls sparring. You can also have your taxidermist fix the broken tines if you wanted to mount them seperate.

I had a friend kill a real nice bull this year on a limited draw area. It had a broken tine and he had it fixed. When he shows it to people he asks them if they can tell which tine was broken, not one person has been able to tell. I was amazed myself. I didn't think they could make it look so good.

REPAIRING TINES IS EASY, AND IS ALWAYS MY CHOICE. BONDO WORKS WELL, AND IS EASY TO WORK WITH. I WOULD NEVER PASS A GREAT BULL WHEN I CAN REPAIR IT, SOME DO. BUT IF YOU ARE CONCERNED ABOUT BNC THEN YOU MIGHT WANT TO THINK IT OVER. YD.

Dave,
Thanks for the input. I'll hunt for BnC first but I'm the one that will be looking at them hangin on the wall, so a nice one with or without a broken tine is goin down. (hopefully 2!)
Are you related to the M's in Yerington?
