I have hunted the state several times and have scouted unit 10. I have 14 points and I am only interested in Archery.

I know 201 is REALLY good and things go down from there.

Trying to make the choice between the two units.

Any suggestions?

I hunted unit 10, tough hunt, but all those NW corner units can be tough with a bow. Not sure if anywhere is worth 14 points for bow though.

I love bow hunting but that is crazy in that area.

If you get a 10 tag next year, I have video of a really good bull that is still around this winter.

I Hunted ML in unit 201 this past season.went out early to scout
and seen alot of big bulls. once season started I didn,t see as much but there was some presure from 7 bull hunters, 20cow hunters and cowboys gathering up cattle.Things started getting crazy the end of the week and I got a 280 bc 6x6 was average
what I had seen. It took me 16 years to get tag. Good luck

I hunted unit 10 2 years ago with my bow. I really put in the time and saw tons of bulls. I only saw a hand full over 350. It is a hard unit with a bow because it is so open. So many elk that you have a lot of eyes watching you and noses smelling you. I ended up taking a 300 class bull at the end of my hunt. I will say that is was the most fun and challenging hunt I have ever been on. My brother took a friend on the muzzy hunt last year in 10 and saw some good bulls. Guy missed a really big one, but ended up with a nice bull.

Ever thought about taking advantage of this years Point Banking option??

Maybe doing 61 and still having points leftover??

10 is full of private ground and dino park.

201 doesn't have as much private headaches, I've done the 4th season cow a couple times and it was fairly accessible...

2 would be a fun area to hunt with all your points....

Good luck whatever ya decide.
