Archery Elk in the Weminuche Wilderness??

I am planning a DIY trip with my father into the Weminuche wilderness in south western Colorado. We are planning to pack in with llamas. I understand that drop camps in the Weminuche are fairly popular.


Is there anyone out there with experience in the Weminuche? If so I'd like to compare notes....
