I've waited till the last minute and I still can't decide what to do. My son has 4 pts and I have 5. Had hoped to hunt the High Desert hunt 2 years ago and didn't draw. Last year I had 2 guarenteed tags and the boy's grades weren't good enough to take out of school so we PP'd it. This year he'll get a 1st season ES tag in Co. and I'll probably get a 2nd choice cow tag in the same season, same unit. Do we PP it again and plan for next year? I like the idea of the High Desert hunt because it's a long season, relatively close (6 hrs) away and either sex. I've also heard it can be tough plus it starts about 3 days after we get back from Co. That would mean about 3 weeks of home work for him to do between the 2 hunts.

Other Oregon options would be the second Murder's Creek East unit (ES), Ukiah Bull, Chesnimnus Bull, or Silvies 1st Bull.

If we wait one more year, the first Murder's creek Bull or the West Murder's Creek ES hunts would be possible to draw. Are either of these worth the wait? I've heard some good bulls come out of these hunts and would like to learn the unit. Any ideas would be appreciated.
