I took photos of this mule deer while we were hunting whitetails on Friday. He does not have much in the rack department but his body is more like a steer. I have also attached a couple photos of whitetail bucks. The second one is a real whopper :D.

Awesome looking photos, as usual sask! Looks a wee-bit on the cool side too!?

That last photo looks like you did a digtal touchup on him to make his rack bigger so you could get a big score. LOL

LOL Gator!

Those are some great pics Sask! That camera sure takes some sharp pictures! That muley looks like hes been eating his Wheaties... and buiscuits and gravy, and hash browns, and cinnamon rolls, and...

Whoa! That thing is huge. It looks like if he were to jump the fence he might bust both his front legs! Thanks for posting the picture Sask.

Hey Sask great pictures of the bucks. Thats buck looks like he would probably be 350 + Lbs on the hoof by my estimate. lol thats a cute little spike looking at you while you take a picture. thanks for sharing.
PS How much snow have you guys got down there. The storm that was supposed to bring all that sonw did it hit you? we have about a inch of snow only up here. thatnks agian for sharing the pictures.

Saskman,
Great Photos as per usual! Looks like you've got some winter there already. I'm bust on the snow where I'm at. Clear, Sunny and Crunchy. Makes for some tough hunting.

Jeez! That's a toad! Awesome pics as usual!

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome, right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

We have between 15 and 20 cm here in Swift Current but the amounts get less as you go north. They are calling for 10-20 more cm tonight and tomorrow but I am not sure how far north that is supposed to go. It sounds like the hunters are out in full force in 14E. My buddy was out for less than 10 minutes this morning and heard 20 shots. There were idiots driving all over through the fields and chasing deer. I am guessing there will be alot more posted land next year after the hoards of hunters are through this year. Good luck with your hunt you are probably going to need it.

GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZEEEEEEE man you gave me some good news and some bad news but i think the bad news outweights the good news. The snow is great but the hunters, now i guess that might be a probolem. I guess all we can hope for is that the second week will be a little more calm on the hunters part. And when we went down there the other day we got premission and the owner said that only a couple peeple asked to hunt on there land. So all we can do is hope that the second week will be more calm. thanks for the update keep them coming thanks.

Those are some great photos. I agree...350 lbs is a good guess. Makes me want to hunt Canada. Actually kind of a cool rack and not that small given the huge deer its attached to. Thanks for sharing.

Great Pics, thanks for posting. Looks like your muleys got the rut goin about full bore!

Great pics as everyone has said, Sask. I'm going to find a way to get up that way someday. And I hope to hang a tag on one of those hog muleys. Thanks for keeping me stoked.

I watched em tag a Whitetail on the Outdoor channel a couple days ago. damn thing easily went over 300 lbs. Fattest deer I have ever even thought about.
LOoked like a 2 yr old bull moomoo cow.

Excellent pic Saskman(as per usual) I too have seen deer like this in some of the trophy zones in AB, These bucks are problematic as they monopolize the does and do a pile of breeding. Lots of 4x3 in these areas. Sometimes its best to kill these old boys. What is the ice level on SSask river? Is it Navigable next week for the Alberta Opener? Thanks
