Anybody can recommend an outfitter for an elk or elk-mule deer combo in British Columbia for 2007 or 2008 ? We are 2 hunters, interested more in seeing lots of game, than in monsters, since it will be our first trip out west. Being from eastern Canada, it would be easier not to cross the border to US.

While I have never hunted in BC, the southeast region seems to be producing what you are looking for. Before his death Bob Fontana of Elk Valley Bighorn Outfitters was well known for producing quality animals in his area, his wife and family are still running the guiding business. Toby Creek Outfitting is also guiding in the same region and has for many years. You have time if you start researching now. Good luck.
