Just a heads up on Kutv channel 2 news, Fstop is doing a story on the (potential utah non typ and typ) record bulls that were harvested this season by some hard hunting common guys. It will be on channel 2 at 11pm saturday night.......

Not to mention a possible world record!

BLT,

Thanks for the heads up! Should be good watching. Nothing better than a good old DIY bull! Those are the best and I applaud fstop for doing this type of show.

I cannot wait to see the big muzzy bull you are working on! BLT can sure work wonders on a mount! They are SWEET.

Does anyone know the name of the guy's that killed either bull, or what unit they took them from?? The reason I ask, is a friend from Utah emailed me some pic's of a bull he killed a couple weeks ago, at that time he thought it might be a new state record muzzleloader bull...it was killed on the Beaver unit I believe. Just curious if this is the same bull.

Thanks.

The NonTypical Bull is an 9x8 and it was killed by friend Greg Holman. It will be officially scored on the 28th of November and it should gross around 424 to 430 and net around 406 and this is with an estimated 15 inches of Broken tine!! had this bull been intact it would have beaten the current state record held by jeff dedrickson. We were checking out a couple of bulls in the morning that my cousin Gary had seen and we ran into Kyle Nowers of Wild West Outfitters. He offered to take Greg and me to and area were he saw the bull.He hunted with us and was there when Greg shot the bull, he also helped pack it out.He didnt ask for any money all he wanted was some props for finding the bull. How often do you see an outfitter do that.It was an awesome hunt and i was able to get the whole thing on Video!!! It will be coming out on video i just dont know which one at the moment.

Doug Degelbeck is the hunter that killed the typical bull. It should net close to 412. Muzz hunt. Not from the Beaver unit.
