Great photos Deerking as usual. Man were those shots of the popcorn buck taken at a petting zoo? How close did you get to him? Great stuff.

Great Pictures DK. Thanks for sharing. The doe standing uphill from the big typical is unique. A whitetail looking face with a muley back-end. Pretty cool.

Great pictures! Yep that looks like unit #$! Need to get that velvet buck out, I'll bet he has CWD.

All but the first were taken with the new camera. Haven't had time to figure out the manual setting so all the pics were taken on auto.

Awesome pics! What's with all the one big, one little horned bucks? I wonder if that is genetics?

Michael~All Gods creatures welcome, right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.

Jeff- You film more great bucks in a day than many of us will see in a lifetime.....and your humble about it. Part of the reason you are the man!
Always enjoy seeing your pictures.
I appreciate you sharing them.
Best,
Jerry

Yep what knaack said, very humble. You shoot some great deer with the camera and gun and say its all luck. whats up with the popcorn buck? Ugly but neat. Great pics DK. Save one for me will ya?

LAST EDITED ON Dec-31-03 AT 07:41AM (MST)[p]Deerking,

It's photo essays like this that keep us all young, and a hunters hopes alive. With the decline in quality and quantity of muley bucks in the past decade, it is truely refreshing to see some quality photos of the animals that are so dear to us fanatical deer hunters. I don't know what part of the west you are from, but those are some fantastic bucks. Thanks for the post and for sharing these photos.

:) Shoot straight! Back to camp late!!! :)

mooseman and to the others that emailed me....
The deer pics were all taken in central Colorado. The broken racks are very common, probably 30-40% of the mature bucks I see have some sort of damage to the antlers.

Thanks, DK. You really do a lot for all of that frequesnt this site. It is always good to see your pics and they do help keep all of us fired up for future hunts. Keep 'em coming!!
