WY 102 Question

For those of you who are lucky or just good at guessing in area 102 in Wyoming where would I have the best chances drawing....Special Deer or just the regular draw. With the new regs I'm not sure where my best chance are going to be.

Got to check the deer demand index from the previous years before spending the extra "doe" (pun totally intended). In my regions of choice it seems the guys with the extra $200 in the pot faired no better than myself. Do your research.

Well I know that in 2003 you had a better chance in the general draw. Like 8% compared to the 5 something % in the special draw. But this year there is new permit allocation between special and general. Special is to get 40 % of the permits....I think.

I would sure think that the odds would be much better in the special drawing in 04. With the fee increase and more licenses in the special pool, it should be better odds in the special drawing. It always seems that in the first year after a price increase, the license draw odds go up. Anyhow, I'd go for the special. Good luck.
