Thanks,
Good Luck in the Draws!

If it snows a lot it can be great. If it is dry it can be terrible. Remember you are hunting deer that have already been hunted for months on general seasons.

There is a fish cop out of Evanston that has a big time attitude against 'You Utah hunters shooting our wyo. deer' and he is always waiting for someone to come across the eastside of the unit out of the Sage Junction access to ticket them. I guess that little dirt road goes into Wyo. for aobut 1/2 a mile. He ticket a guy or 2 this year. They fought the charges with maps and GPS. I ran into one of them at the Utah/Idaho map store and he told me all about it. He got a great buck and his truck was parked on the wyo. side of the road but he shot down in the draw in utah...... I never did hear how they ended up after fighting the ticket?????

Wapiti,
Sent you a PM and email's looking for help on a unit that you are familiar with for archery elk. Thanks, Alan

Heck, we Utahans love you Wyoming gents. Half my neighbors are from Star Valley, and one from Kemmerer. I have noticed a major increase in Utah and Idaho trucks on the winter range the past three years. I'm sure that piss them off more then anything. I spent more time in Wyoming then any other state. You guys have the Windrivers, Jackson Hole, Tetons and Yellowstone, Big Bucks and its one heck of a state. Back to the topice, I know two guys that drew tags this year. One never got a shot the other took a small four point. From what I've hear it's sucked out there for the past six years. They never saw a buck bigger then 25" out there.
