I have a set of sheds from this guy's dad and one antler scores 93 and 2/8. This buck is a year or two away from that, but he has the same exact genes and make-up. I think this deer will go 180, and his front forks are better than the picture shows them. Anyhow, there are lots of deer and several decent bucks in the corn right around home. They are having a real good winter.

Perfect box frame
Bucks needs another 2 years and he'll be one hell of a buck.

Terrific photos as usual! That is my type of Buck! I am a sucker for the tall racks and deep forks!!!

I agree, he should gross around 190. He's got a good inside spread that his main beams should be able to match. He also has good mass, just lacking a little in the G3 and browtine departments.

Nope - no food plot. These deer usually bed on our place, but this year the are feeding in the neighbor's corn. The wind blew like heck right before it was harvested and there's all kinds of corn on the ground. They are eating it all the time. There were 60-80 deer there the other night. It's nice to see the mule deer in good habitat. We have whitetails, too, but there are fewer and the muleys actually displace them from this area.

Good feed like that should help them thru this winter, I know your neighbor don't like losing that corn, but it sure did work out great for the deer, Will your neighbor run cows on it to clean it up, we always run cows on corn stalks during the winter it helps them. Do you have any pheasents around there, looks like good cover for them in the background. NICE PICTURE

The neighbor will put his cows in there pretty soon. But he's a tough guy to predict. We do not have hardly any pheasants, and I can't figure out why. We have good habitat and they just are not here. 100 miles east in Nebraska, they are plentiful. I think between the low humidity and predators, they struggle. We have a few turkeys and lots of geese, but not any pheasants.
