kaibab buck

anyone see a photo of a huge kaibab bowkill from this past december? a guy sent me a photo of it today. enormous buck. sort of an odd shaped rack, but it is huge. don't know if i've ever seen a buck with a bigger frame. appears to be a big 5x6 with fair browtines. but it must be close to 40" wide and so tall it's crazy. couple tines must be 20" or more. i don't know how to post it or i would.

ok, i'll send it soon. i get to thinking, there ain't a late bowhunt in kaibab is there? it has hard horns and a winter coat tho. whatever, it's a big deer. don't have a clue as to who the hunter is or any other details. but he oughta be one happy dude.

There is a late archery deer hunt in unit 10 which is in the Kaibab National Forest, below the south rim of the Grand Canyon.
The buck is a monster buck. Here is a link directly the the picture.

It was taken on the south rim of the Grand Canyon by a bowhunter during the late archery hunt in December. Its supposed to gross 213. Quite a few people knew about this buck. I got a quick glimpse of him but never could find him again.

Great buck! I think the sticker is on a small cooler. Nice to see a big deer fall to a PSE.

The buck is not a Kaibab buck. It was killed in unit 19B on some private land. The hunter is a local guy who is in with a few landowners in units 19B and 18A. It's a great buck and is over the 30 inch mark.
